As I mentioned last week, I plan to deliver useful information to your inbox every Monday.  This week is a short info teaser.  My goal is to entice you to listen to the linked podcast which has a total run time of 1 hour and 20 minutes.  Phil Maffetone has been in the game since the 1970’s, so 40 years of knowledge distilled down to 80 minutes.  All at the amazing price of FREE.  As I said last week, share with friends as you see fit and please let me know what you think.

When you think about your cardio or aerobic training for 2021 and beyond how awesome would it be to find some magic that would improve your fitness and health while at the same time requiring you to train at a lower perceived effort, volume and pace.  I think most of us would ask where we sign up.

Well Friends you don’t have to sign up for any magic pill, mattress or shoes.  All you need to do is listen to this episode of The Drive, Ep. 144 with Phil Maffetone, yup the same guy who is credited with those Fat Burning Scales on all the Cardio Equipment in your commercial gym, all the way back in the 80’s.

Ok, ok that isn’t all you have to do but there are a lot of really practical and useful bits of information in this discussion that you can implement into your day-to-day systems to improve your performance.  Phil and Peter actually discuss improving the EAT, the MOVE and Stress Reduction (we could easily put Stress Reduction in the SLEEP bucket, IMO, right?).
