TN50#13, Three Things, 29 March 2021

Happy Monday and welcome to The Next 50 #13.
I have three things for you this week.
- One week ago, a police officer and nine civilians were killed at a super market in Boulder, CO. A local shoe manufacturer, Altra, is donating 100% of the proceeds from the sales of their Bolder Boulder Escalante Racer model running shoes to the families caught up in this tragedy, learn more here. This is a win-win you will be supporting a worthy cause and Altra makes a great shoe that is zero-drop and has a nice wide toe-box. I have a couple hundred miles in my current pair and now have a second set on the way.
- The Special Operations Warrior Foundation is now supporting “cradle to career” education expenses of the children of ALL Medal of Honor recipients. This is an amazing organization. This link will take you to a short video of Tony Thomas, the former Commander of the US Special Operations Command talking about this new commitment to America’s finest.
- Some of you already know the name, Norm Hooten. For those that do and those that don’t this is a great little article I stumbled across a couple days ago in Task and Purpose.
