BLUF: Lifting weights makes you harder to kill.

- 11 total studies
- 370,256 participants
- Mean follow up of 8.85 years
Based on the findings, people who lift weight are 21% harder to kill (all-cause mortality) than people who don’t exercise! The numbers for people who lift weights and perform metabolic conditioning are even better – seriously, check out the abstract!
