TN50#162_How To EAT_30 April_2024
Hi Team,
Wow, life is lifing hard, here in Colorado! Kid’s end of school year plays, recitals, concerts, graduations, finals are in full bloom. And speaking of full bloom, I finally have tulips blooming here at 6,200 feet elevation in Castle Rock!
Happy Tuesday and welcome to The Next 50 #162. I like to think of personal performance in 3 components: physical, mental and emotional. My frameworks focus on 4 Buckets: Eat, Sleep, Move and Think. This blog is my sandbox for sharing information that you might find useful for your personal performance.
There are weeks in my life when The Next 50 doesn’t make it to the top of the list based on life lifing (as in life-ing, new slang I heard from James Wedmore). I hope you all have the ability to adjust your routines from time to time for all the right reasons as well. This last week and all of May 2024 are going to be amazingly rich for me and my family so I imagine The Next 50’s might get a little sparse. That being said, I will pass on amazing content that I believe most of you will find useful as we move full steam ahead into the Warm Months here in the states.
A fine example of this is one of my coach’s recent podcasts on losing weight without measuring your food! Now I don’t need to lose weight but there are a few action items in this episode that I really need to work on as well.
Here’s the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ch9jMQo4WVQ
The entire episode is less than 18 minutes total. AND all the recommendations are things you can implement immediately. Spencer gives us 6 action items to consider; the ones that I really need to work on are focused on how I eat a meal, let me know which ones really resonate for you.
Who do you know that could use this information? I bet you can think of a couple of folks before you click the next email, so please share the post with your team and anyone who might find it useful and let me know what you think!
Have a good one, Alex
